About this water

Another loch nestled amongst the fertile grassland of shell sand soil which gives these Machair lochs their unique fertility. Stuffed with snails and shrimp and a small head of fast growing trout, this is a loch for the specimen hunter.

Best areas are the machair edge which is the drop off on the western shore and the northern shore which adjoins it.

A loch for those who like their fish large, infrequent and love fishing palmered flies on a floating line.
