Water managed by Shetland Anglers Association
Contained mostly small brown trout until fish cages were sited in the loch a number of years ago. They grew quickly by feeding around the cages and fish well into the teens of pounds were caught, many on worm or spinner. Many of these were fished out and the loch is less fished now. Still sees a small run of sea trout which come up the burn from the lower Loch of Brouster.
