Water managed by Shetland Anglers Association
Kirkhouse water and Collaster loch have good quality fish which average 12 ounces but fish of more than two pounds have been caught in both lochs.
Deepest water is on the west side of the loch and care should be taken when wading.
An evening visit in August produced no fish, with neither rises seen nor takes encountered. Wading was good along the south shore, and fishing was carried out there before continuing around the eastern shore to the end of the peninsula. On this occasion the loch appeared inactive, consistent with its reputation for being dour.
