Newton Stewart Angling Association

Newton Stewart & District Angling Association was founded in 1946 and initially leased water from the Earl of Galloway. Since then the club has purchased just over 1 mile of double bank fishing and a further 1 mile of single bank fishing on the River Cree, as well as fishings on the Penkiln Burn, providing salmon and seatrout fishing for members and visitors.

The club owns Wee Glenamour loch situated just outside Newton Stewart and has excellent brown and rainbow trout fishing on 4 other lochs.
